KURA Bed tent blue, white Length: 59 " Width: 39 ¼ " Height: 39 ¼ " Length: 150 cm Width: 100 cm Height: 100 cm
I ditched the crib in the move, since she was just climbing out of it anyways, and decided on this bed from IKEA.

It has a tent canopy that goes on top, so every night it is like she is camping, which she loves!

And so far she sleeps in it all night (well, most nights).

5 more minutes...

Our Christmas road trip ended with Adam and I spending the 30th and 31st on our own in Asheville, North Carolina for a 2-day show by the Avett Brothers. For those who know us at all, you are probably well aware that we have admitted to now being official TAB "groupies" and this was made official when we stood outside their tour bus at the Asheville Civic Center, not one but both nights, hoping to meet one or all of them.

The first night we caved and headed to bed pretty early after realizing they were probably with their families since they are from NC, but the second night after witnessing maybe their best show yet (Jessica Mayfield, their sis and dad all performed with them at one point or another), we decided to tough it out in the cold weather to get our posters signed.

After 2 am, every few minutes one or the other of us would almost give up and decide to head back to the hotel. And the other would respond something to the effect of, "... 5 more minutes". At maybe 3 am, I started walking over to the tour bus where maybe 15 people had stuck it out. And all of the sudden their jaws dropped and Seth Avett was standing there.

Not sure we could have smiled any bigger. :)

He was very down to earth and nice. We were both a little star struck, but somehow managed to crack a couple of jokes.

Definitely well worth the wait.
